Motivated Cleaning

It’s amazing what you can accomplish when you’re not in pain! My back is improving week by week, and because of that I have been so motivated to clean the areas of my house that have needed attention for quite some time! It’s those “hidden” areas that only I really noticed, but were bugging me! So, I hope this cleaning video motivates you to clean those “hidden” areas in your home too!

~Making Room for Lazy Susan~

I meant to have this clean with me video up yesterday for Motivational Monday, but I got behind on things and wasn’t able to get it edited in time. So, even though you are seeing this on a Tuesday, I hope it motivates you anyway. In this video I am cleaning my tiny kitchen (again). I had purchased a beautiful Lazy Susan from the store where I work and I used it to organize a cluttered corner on my kitchen counter. It made the area look so much better and so much less cluttered.

Quick Clean With Me

I’m sure everyone has that one place in your home that is a problem area. Whether it is a room, a closet, a corner, or even just a drawer, it is the one area that consistently gets out of control. In this video I tackle the main problem area in my home. I bet you can’t guess what it is! I hope this quick clean with me video motivates you to tackle the problem area in your home.

Organize With Me ~Vanity Table~

I finally got the chance to set up my new vanity table that I got for my birthday! It was so much fun (and quite a bit of work) getting the area cleaned out where I put it and getting everything organized. But, I am so happy with the results. I’ve had a chance to use my vanity table a couple times since setting it up and I feel so pampered! I am so grateful to finally have the vanity table I’ve always wanted.

Week-ish In The Life ~Working Mom Life~

In this vlog I decided to do a week-ish in the life rather than just a day in the life. The reason I say week–ish is because it was not a full week, but several days out of the week. Follow me as I take you to work and give a tour of my work place and the job that I do. I will also share some snowy footage for my southern friends. There is also some cleaning and cooking and lots of chatting. My door is open, come on in and spend the week—ish with me.

Motivational Monday ~Cleaning the PIT~

In this Motivational Monday I tackle a recurring problem in my home….the “Pit” AKA my office. It is the one room in the house that I tend to let go more often and to more of an extreme than any other room in the house. It is the dumping ground for all things. It is the area where I put things that need to be “put away” until I have time to deal with them. It is the place where everything that needs a “home” go until I can find a home for them. It is a very small space with a lot of stuff in it. It is the room that I spend the majority of my “down time” in. Before, during and after the Holidays I let this room get worse than it has in a very long time. After ignoring the problem for months, I finally buckle down and spend a Saturday getting it whipped back into shape. I hope I am not the only one who has a room or an area in their home that is a consistent problem, and I hope that this video will motivate you to tackle the problem head on, as I did. (Now to just keep it clean……)

New Year One Box Challenge

In this video I am participating in the One Box Challenge hosted by Rachel from the Sweet and Simple Home. The concept of this challenge is to take a box and fill it with things that you no longer use or need from your home. I will be sharing with you the items that I decluttered in my “7 Areas in 7 Days” decluttering video that I recently uploaded. I love decluttering my home and this challenge motivates me to declutter even when I don’t think I have anything else I can part with. I hope it motivates you!

Decluttering 7 Areas in 7 Days

With extra time at a premium, and areas in my home that needed decluttering, I made a challenge for myself to declutter one area in my home each day for seven days. Most of these decluttering sessions took 15 minutes or less and I was able to straighten and reorganize 7 areas in my home that needed attention. The purpose behind this video is to show that it really does not take much time at all to tidy and organize your home, even if you are busy. I hope this motivates you to tackle the problem areas in your home.

New Year 20 Day Declutter Challenge

For the New Year, I challenged myself to do a 20 day declutter.  I am to declutter one area in my home 5 days a week for 1 month and post a video every Monday.  I have been successful so far in completing the challenge!  But, because of the flu that we were down with, I am behind in sharing the videos with you.  So, here are the links to the 3 videos that I have published, so far, on YouTube.  I only have 1 more week to go to complete the challenge!

It will really help my channel out if you watch all of the videos.  They will be in a playlist.
