Last Day of VEDA Vlog

Can you believe that it’s the end of VEDA?? I can’t. In some ways the month of April just seemed to drag on and on, but in other ways it flew by. Doing a video (almost) every day in April helped to pass the time and it gave me something to do and something to look forward to. During this month I discovered how much I enjoy doing challenge/collaboration videos. I also rediscovered my love for DIYs and crafting. It had been quite some time since I had done a DIY or a craft and once I started doing them for VEDA, the more creative I feel I’ve become. It’s like exercising the creative part of the brain and as it grows “stronger” the more creative you become. I plan to incorporate more DIY’s and crafts in my future videos. Anyway….I will end VEDA with a day in the life. My door is open, come on in and spend the day with me!

Relaxing Clean With Me

In this Motivational Monday video I spend the day cleaning the upstairs of my house. I wasn’t in any hurry to get the house cleaned so I pretty much took the whole afternoon to clean it. It’s not that it was terribly dirty, I just didn’t have anywhere to go so I took my time and took a lot of breaks. In actual cleaning time, it probably took me a couple of hours. For you, it will just be a few minutes. I hope you enjoy and that it motivates you.

I am participating once again in another collaboration. I have been having so much fun doing these home decor and DIY collabs lately!! In this video I am creating a fun and cheerful tablescape. We were challenged to create a tablescape using the color yellow! I had a blast and I think it turned out really bright, colorful, and super fun to look at.

Finally, A Normal Grocery Haul

After what seems like an eternity, I finally had a relatively normal shopping experience! I was able to schedule pick up times for both Walmart and Kroger on the same day! Almost everything I ordered was available. I was able to go into Walmart without any difficulty. Now, I will say, several items on my “favorites” list on Walmart were out of stock, but fortunately I didn’t need any of those items this time. It’s amazing how much less stressful a NORMAL grocery shopping is! Enjoy!

In this video I am participating in another DIY challenge. In this collaboration we are challenged to use your stash or trash to make a “trash to treasure” project. I had a ton of fun creating this DIY and it cost me nothing but time. I think it turned out beautiful. I find the more I create, the more creative I become and I just love it when a project turns out nice and is something that I love to use in my home. Look For Less Challenge ~April 2020~

It’s been a while since I’ve participated in the “Look For Less” challenge, but it is one of my favorite challenges to participate in. The premise is that you find a home decor item that is out of your budget range and recreate it for less. I didn’t really need to create a big project, as I’ve done in the past, so I decided to do 3 small projects. They were super easy and quick and all of the items used were from my stash, so it literally cost me nothing to do these projects. I hope you enjoy!

Putting Away Spring Decor

Since Easter is over and the weather is turning nicer every day, I decided it was time to take down my spring/Easter decor. In this video I take down the spring decor, clean the spaces and then decorate with my “everyday” decor. I know that as time goes by I will probably change things around, because I always seem to do that, but I have my home pretty much decorate.
