Another busy day in the life. I share with you an exciting “find” outside. I take you along for some errands. I share with you something I’ve never tried before. There’s a small haul, a trip to the beauty shop, and a recipe! Since I work part time I have to pack a lot into my days off, and today was no exception. Come a long with me and spend the day with me!
In this day in the life I take you around to see the outside animals, you haven’t seen them in a while. I also give an update on how the garden/greenhouse is doing. Am I ever going to get any squash off of those plants? I also give an update on Sally. How is she doing? There are also a few new additions to the house, AND something new that I am trying to maybe help my back pain. It was a busy day, so come along and spend the day with me!
In this vlog I share some of the new things happening around here. I also open some friend mail from a dear friend overseas. I do a haul from a company that I have never tried before but decided to give them a whirl. Have you ever heard of Thrive Market? Well, it’s an online organic food store. I’ve been hearing about them for a while and I finally decided to try them out. So far, I really like them! Check out what I purchased. I also take you on a small tour of my garden/flower beds and check out the signs of spring. And, I make a visit to my mom and brother’s graves, I hadn’t been to see them since my brother’s funeral in September. Of course, you will get your fair share of Mr. Ollie and sweet Sally too! I’ve finally filmed another Day in the Life, it has been a while! In this busy DITL I share with you a special Christmas Announcement, some awesome Friend Mail that I received, an Ollie Update, a Dollar General haul, and a little of this and a little of that. It was a busy day but very productive and a fun day. If I look tired, it’s because I am. I did not sleep very well the night before, stress at work and everything else that is going on in the world is really starting to get to me and it kept me up most of the night. But, I had a great day nonetheless. Come on in and spend the day with me!
The weather was absolutely miserable, cold and rainy, so I decided it was the perfect day to just stay in my cozy comfy jammies all day. I didn’t put on makeup or anything….and I hope you don’t mind. By late afternoon I did end up putting on a pair of sweat pants because I was “shopping” on facebook Marketplace and found an excellent deal, so when Scott got home from work we took a drive to check it out. You’ll have to watch and see if the “deal” really was a deal, and if we ended up buying. Come along and spend the day with me.
This video is a bit longer than normal but that is because I got really chatty talking and sharing about our latest camping adventure. We had good food and good fellowship with friends that came camping with us. We saw the fabulous beauty of Central Indiana in Autumn. We learned a lot of history of the area. And most of all we made memories that will last a lifetime. I am so excited to share these adventures with you, the good, the bad, and the ugly (just wait until I tell you about my unfortunate, klutzy accident)! This video is a long time coming. I have had the footage saved on my computer for several weeks, but due to the death of my brother, Doug, YouTube was put on hold for a while. Over Labor Day weekend we were able to take our “new to us” camper out for her maiden voyage. We went to a campground not too terribly far from us. The weather was perfect. We had one rainy morning, but it was so nice to just sit in the camper, drink coffee, talk, and watch the rain fall. The campground was not ideal, but the time with my husband and kids was amazing. And…it was the perfect opportunity to try out the camper. We absolutely LOVE our camper! She is so awesome! We named her “Alice”. I hope you enjoy this 4 day vlog of highlights of our very first camping trip in Alice.

I share what I eat in a day eating the Trim Healthy Mama way. Olivia and I go thrifting and I share our finds. My door is open, come on in and spend the day with me!
In this Day In The Life I do a container garden update, talk about invading raccoons and show you the animals. I also do a “What I Eat In A Day on Trim Healthy Mama. I show you absolutely everything I ate, and this is very typical of what I have been eating since starting back on THM. Also, have I lost any weight?? If I have how much? You’ll have to watch to find out. So, my door is open, come on in and spend the day with me!
Can you believe that it’s the end of VEDA?? I can’t. In some ways the month of April just seemed to drag on and on, but in other ways it flew by. Doing a video (almost) every day in April helped to pass the time and it gave me something to do and something to look forward to. During this month I discovered how much I enjoy doing challenge/collaboration videos. I also rediscovered my love for DIYs and crafting. It had been quite some time since I had done a DIY or a craft and once I started doing them for VEDA, the more creative I feel I’ve become. It’s like exercising the creative part of the brain and as it grows “stronger” the more creative you become. I plan to incorporate more DIY’s and crafts in my future videos. Anyway….I will end VEDA with a day in the life. My door is open, come on in and spend the day with me!
